Amy, Part 1 | Maternity | Willamette Valley

One of my longest friends, who also happens to be a photographer (make sure to check out her work here), reached out to me to take portraits for her. She wanted to do something a bit different, she wanted to split her session into two parts: part one was just her, all dolled up, in a pretty gown in one location and part two — well I won’t give any spoilers but the rest of her family will be involved in part two! I couldn’t wait to spend some time with her, talk about her pregnancy, and catch up on life. It was definitely an adventure as we traveled a little over an hour away to capture these portraits. Not only was she super willing to walk through a cold creek, but on our way out of the area, we both spotted a wonderful spot the light was hitting and it was PERFECT. I loved that she was willing to hop out of the car and run into the woods to capture the light as it was peaking through the trees. Overall, it was an amazing day. Here are some of my favorites from the evening!
